It’s Taylor Swift’s world, and the 2024 MTV Video Music Award nominations are the latest evidence.

Swift leads the pack with an impressive 10 nominations, including eight for her “Fortnight” music video and nods for Artist of the Year and Best Pop. Following closely behind is her “Fortnight” collaborator, Post Malone, who secured eight nominations alongside Swift and earned his ninth for the country hit “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen.

The Artist of the Year category is stacked with talent, featuring nominees like Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, and SZA. Swift’s dominance at the VMAs is nothing new—last year, she took home nine awards, bringing her total to 23. This achievement places her just behind Beyoncé, who holds 28 VMAs (two with Destiny’s Child), and ahead of Madonna with 20, and Lady Gaga with 19.

The 2024 MTV VMAs will air live on September 10 at 8 p.m. Eastern. Grande, Carpenter, and Eminem each have six nominations, while Megan Thee Stallion and SZA have five. Blackpink’s LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims follow with four nods.
